| June 10, 2021 1:00 AM

BOISE — The Idaho Commission for Libraries is accepting applications to fill a vacant seat on its five-member board of library commissioners, which is the policymaking body for the ICfL.

The position must be filled by a resident of North Idaho, who is at least 18 years of age. The board term is five years; however, this opening is for a vacated seat, so the term expires June 2023.

Ideal candidates will have an awareness of emerging technologies, an appreciation of the role libraries play in youth and teen development, and fresh perspectives on ways libraries can meet the needs of a diverse state, according to a press release.

To apply, submit a letter of interest and resume to the ICfL by July 14 to: Peter.Nelson@libraries.idaho.gov
