Four-legged fun: 'Dog Days of Summer-Fest'

The city of Hayden is partnering with the Kootenai Humane Society for the second "Dog Days of Summer-Fest" on Saturday, June 26, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Stoddard Park, 8348 N. Chateaux Drive.

It is free and, of course, canines are welcome.

The fun will include bouncy houses, food, ice cream, and Kootenai County Sheriff's Office K-9 demos.

Donations will be accepted and proceeds will go toward amenities at Pawfoot Dog Park on Lancaster Road.

Prizes and goodie bags are being donated by local companies and Idaho Central Credit Union.
