Cutler, a senior, won the 300-meter hurdles in 46.11 seconds in rainy conditions at the state 3A track and field meet at Middleton High on May 22. “It was my only race of the day, and it felt super smooth,” said Cutler, who was part of a sprint medley champion as a sophomore. “I’d seen that my time was at the top of the 3A (classification) all year, so it was exciting to win. I just felt I ran a really good race and was super happy about that.”
