CONFEDERATE FLAGS: Let them be

I read Chris Shelton’s My Turn opinion — well written and full of facts! I read Donald Bishop’s My Turn opinion. I found Mr. Bishop’s opinion to be thoughtless, heartless and downright selfish!

I have lived in Idaho for 17 years and yes, I have seen the Confederate flags. Let them be!

You never mentioned the BLM and Antifa flags and riots. They didn’t hang them next to our American flag. They burned our American flag!

I have traveled to the Netherlands. That won’t count in your world — we are white and European descent.

You claim “your political policy is your business” but you didn’t hesitate to blame President Trump for the Jan. 6 insurrection. The insurrection was last summer.

I challenge you, Mr. Bishop, to go to your local florist and hand deliver a bouquet of red, white and blue flowers to your neighbor along with an apology for your rudeness and bias.

Because you see, Mr. Bishop, Idahoans don’t see the world as it is, but as we are.
