Museum sponsors summer movie series

| June 1, 2021 1:00 AM

The Museum of North Idaho will show movies at three venues this summer.

The venues are City Park, at Human Rights Education Institute and Hayden Cinemas (drive-in style).

With the 2021 Featured Exhibit Hollywood of the North: North Idaho and the Film Industry, The Museum of North Idaho is showing movies to create awareness of the region's connection to Hollywood and films.

The event kicks off on June 4 with "Going My Way," starring Bing Crosby, at 8 p.m. in City Park.

Next up is "Grease," timed for the arrival of Car d’Lane.

The two overarching themes are: Vintage movies of stars who have a connection to North Idaho, and movies that were filmed in North Idaho.
