LEGION BASEBALL: Lumbermen Red get past Navy
SPOKANE — Travis Usdrowski scored the go-ahead run for the Coeur d’Alene Lumbermen Red on an error to hold off the Coeur d’Alene Lumbermen Navy 4-3 in the second round of the Washington state AA Legion baseball tournament on Tuesday at Al K. Jackson Field.
Coeur d’Alene Navy (31-13) faces Lynden today at 10 a.m. in a loser-out game.
Kyle Seman struck out six in 3 ⅔ innings of relief for Coeur d’Alene Red (27-11-2), which faces Mt. Spokane today at 4 p.m. in a quarterfinal game. Mt. Spokane beat the Yakima Valley Peppers 12-2 in Tuesday's late game.
