Goodwill to close Hayden donation trailer

Goodwill is permanently closing its Hayden donation trailer, located in the parking lot of the Hayden Super 1, effective this Sunday.

Saturday, July 31, is the last day of operation for this donation center, which has served the Hayden and surrounding communities for several years.

“We want to thank our Hayden and north Coeur d’Alene donors, who have shown such support for Goodwill’s programs over the years through their donations,” said Heather Alexander, senior associate vice president of marketing and communications for the local Goodwill.

Team members who work at this donation center have been offered jobs at other locations.

The closure is impacted by staffing shortages throughout the region, Alexander said.

Donors who would like to continue supporting Goodwill’s programs can take their donated items to these Goodwill locations:

• Coeur d’Alene: 1212 N. Fourth St.

• Post Falls: 4040 E. 16th Ave.
