A Post Falls woman was cited for her involvement in a three-car crash Thursday on Highway 55.

According to the Idaho State Police, the accident happened about 4 p.m. at milepost 91 between Banks and Cascade and involved a southbound Toyota Camry that collided with a northbound pickup, and a second pickup traveling behind the first.

The driver of one of the pickups, a 44-year-old man from Garden City and the driver of the Toyota Camry were taken by air ambulance to a Boise hospital. Their injuries on scene appeared to be non-life-threatening, ISP said.

The driver of the second pickup, a 61-year-old man from Cascade, was treated and released.

The driver of the Camry, a 50-year-old Post Falls woman, was cited by troopers for inattentive driving.

Highway 55 south of the Rainbow Bridge had lane restrictions and traffic backed up for about three hours.

The names of the drivers involved in the accident were not available Friday.
