Jamie Lee Peters, 41

Jamie Lee Peters, 41, of Hayden, Idaho, passed away in the care of Schneidmiller Hospice House surrounded by family and friends.

Jamie was originally from West Virginia. He served honorably in the United States Army and was a machinist by trade.

He is survived by his children, Jackson Hopper, 12, and Lilly Hanson, 8; parents, Mark and Misha McDonie; and fiancée, Ashley McCurdy; as well as many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends in West Virginia, Ohio, Georgia, Idaho and Washington. He was preceded in death by father, Jamie Gene Peters, maternal and paternal grandparents, and best friend, Ty Platt.

A viewing will be held from 5-7 p.m. on Thursday, July 22, 2021, at Yates Funeral Home – Hayden Chapel, 373 E. Hayden Ave., Hayden, Idaho 83835. Jamie will be laid to rest at 11:15 a.m. on Monday, July 26, 2021 at the Washington State Veterans Cemetery in Medical Lake, Wash.
