Clark Fork man dies in crash

A Clark Fork man died in a three-vehicle crash Monday afternoon near Hope.

According to the Idaho State Police, Robert L. Eagle, 64, was eastbound on Highway 200 near milepost 46 in a 1993 Nissan pickup when he went left of center about 12:30 and struck a 2004 Ford F250 pickup driven by Robert R O'Connor, 57, of Bayview.

Eagle's vehicle then struck a 2016 Nissan Altima driven by Hope H. Kinney, 23, of Tempe, Ariz. Eagle was not wearing a seat belt and died at the scene, ISP said.

The highway was blocked for three hours.

An investigation continues.
