EPA liifts ban on open burning for Kootenai reservation

Air quality has improved on the Kootenai Reservation, and the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency, in coordination with the Kootenai Tribe of Idaho, lifted its air quality ban on open burning for the reservation on Friday.

Restrictions on open burning by other agencies remain in place, including those for fire danger.
