RATHDRUM — Rathdrum Days will be packed to the brim with family-friendly events and activities this weekend.

Two days of festivities kick off at 5:30 p.m. Friday at Majestic Park with live music, a beer garden, a kids bounce house and more than 100 vendors.

Ashley Moore, executive director for the Rathdrum Chamber of Commerce, said the space for food vendors this year is sold out.

The parade on Main Street steps off at 10 a.m. Saturday from the north end of Main Street in the McDonalds’s parking lot.

Rathdrum Days moves to Lakeland High School Saturday with contests, games, music and special guests.

The live music schedule includes a noon performance by Coeur d’Alene resident Jacob Maxwell, who competed in 2019 during season 16 of NBC’s vocal competition program, "The Voice."

A pickleball tournament is scheduled 7:30 to 10:30 a.m. Participants can register at Rathdrum Fitness, 14250 Thayer St.

A kids fun zone will include a Big Wheel Race and new features like the “smoke maze,” which will be presented by the Rathdrum Fire Department.
