Swallow, a rising senior midfielder from Lake City High, received national scholastic honors for the third straight season as he was selected to the CoSIDA Academic All-America team for Division II. Swallow was featured on the list of 35 NCAA Division II men’s soccer student-athletes that is produced annually by College Sports Information Directors of America (CoSIDA) and factors in both classroom and on-field performance. He was also a second-team selection in 2019 and a third-team honoree in 2018. Swallow is the first player from the men’s soccer program to be named to the team more than twice.

Area athletes earn spot

on Big Sky academic team

Alex Ayers, a graduate student from Lake City High and Grady Leonard, a graduate student from Coeur d'Alene High, were named to the Big Sky Conference All-Academic team, the conference announced.

Matt Ward, a rising sophomore from Coeur d'Alene, was honored as a member of the Montana track and field team.

To be eligible for recognition, a student-athlete must carry at least a 3.2 cumulative grade-point average (on a 4.0 scale) be on an active roster, and competed at least one term at the institution.
