Avista customers in St. Maries and surrounding area to experience a planned power outage

About 280 Avista electric customers in St. Maries and the surrounding area will experience a planned power outage on Tuesday, July 20. The planned outage will begin at 5 a.m. and end at 7 a.m. No road closures are expected during the outage.

During this time, Avista crews will perform maintenance to their equipment in that area.

"The routine maintenance will increase reliability and reduce future outages," according to a press release.
