Two juveniles who smashed a window and stole cigarettes Monday night were tracked down and arrested by Kootenai County Sheriff's Office deputies.

Deputies responded to U.S. 95 and Orchard Avenue when it was reported that two males had run into the middle of the road with their faces covered.

A few moments later, KCSO received a burglary alarm at Big Smoke in Hayden, where deputies discovered a broken window. About $64 worth of cigarettes were stolen.

Big Smoke cameras showed two juveniles entering the store for cigarettes and then running toward Triple Play, KCSO said.

Deputies went to Triple Play and spoke to an employee who said there were juveniles staying there who matched the descriptions.

Deputies arrested two juvenile males for burglary, petit theft and malicious injury to property.
