CRT: Human nature’s role

Thank you for the guest opinion by Mark T. Mitchell entitled “Critical Race Theory and the promise of America” (July 9). It clarified some of the basic ideas about CRT, at least for me, that have been going on over the last few months.

The basic deficiency of all of the philosophies seems to be a woeful lack of recognition of the role human nature plays in EVERYTHING. It is always better to argue on the basis of knowledge than on the basis of perception.
