Avista plans outage in Rathdrum

About 715 Avista electric customers in Rathdrum and the surrounding area will experience a planned power outage this week.

The planned outage will begin at 8 p.m. on Thursday and end at 6 a.m. on Friday. Traffic control will be in place. No road closures are expected during this outage.

The work is being performed to accommodate a road move project at Highway 53 and Meyer Road, which includes a new signal light being installed in that area.
