Grove ties for fifth at Wyoming Open in tuneup for Rosauers

CHEYENNE, Wyo. — North Idaho College men's and women's golf coach Russell Grove finished tied for fifth at the Wyoming State Open at the Airport Golf Club.

Grove shot 65-67-64—196, 14 under par. He finished eight shots back of the winner, Matt McCarty of Scottsdale, Ariz, who won by six strokes.

The 34th Rosauers Open Invitational is scheduled to begin Friday and conclude Sunday at Indian Canyon Golf Course in Spokane.
