THANKS: Unexpected kindness

| July 9, 2021 1:00 AM

I was out for my daily walk recently when I did a face plant on the sidewalk. I was bleeding from my mouth and my nose, trying to decide how to get up from the sidewalk.

A kind gentleman, driving a Kootenai Health vehicle, stopped and helped me up. He then offered to take me to the hospital or home. I opted for home.

He walked me to the door and made sure someone was home before he drove away. I want to thank him for his kindness and help. Also wanted him to know that I did go to the hospital and I am fine.
