| July 9, 2021 1:00 AM

The final three performances of "Tuck Everlasting The Musical" by How Much More Productions are this weekend.

Performances are 7 tonight and 2 p.m. and 7 p.m. Saturday at Christ the King Church, 1700 E. Pennsylvania Ave. It is free.

Kristi Mendoza is co-directing with her daughter, Ava. Tuck Everlasting is a novel written by Natalie Babbitt. It tells the story of a young girl who discovers a spring of immortality and the adventures that follow.

How Much More's previous productions include Sound of Music, Newsies, Frozen and Peter Pan.

It is one of the few theater groups — perhaps the only — doing live performances this summer.

Tuck Everlasting, a Broadway musical, is described as a "creative and uplifting performance.

"It's a wonderful evening of song, dance and a great story," wrote Zoe Ann Thruman
