COEUR d’ALENE – Join us for a chat with five local authors.

Picnic at the Pavilion, a benefit for the Coeur d’Alene Public Library, will feature authors Mary Lou Reed, David Kilmer, Steve McCrea, Doug Eastwood, DeNene C. Banger and Regina Lustig each discussing their works on July 16. The event will begin at 5:30 p.m.

Tickets are $25 per person, and include one free drink. Tickets are available online at brownpapertickets.com/event/5145915.

The evening is being underwritten by the Parker Toyota. The authors will be speaking on their most recent works. Mary Lou Reed authored "In Her Words" in May 2021, David Kilmer published "A Peril to Myself and Others, My quest to become a captain" in April 2020, Steve McCrea also published "Silencing Thomas Kerl: The Espionage Act of 1917 and the War Against Dissent" in April 2020, Doug Eastwood wrote "North Idaho Centennial Trail: The Trail that almost wasn’t" in January 2020, and DeNene C. Banger & Regina Lustig published "Far From Safe" in June 2020
