GROWTH: Put residents first

A recent Coeur d’Alene Press article pointed out the concerns of Post Falls City Council member Linda Wilhelm regarding people from outside the area flooding city parks. She is quoted as saying, “In my opinion, it is time to put the residents of Post Falls first when it comes to the launch at Q’emiln Park and the city parks citywide. I further do not believe that a Post Falls resident should have to pay at all to use the Post Falls parks.”
It sure is a relief to see she feels the citizens of Post Falls come before people living elsewhere and given her support of growth in the city, it seems her position is well-defined. The citizens of Post Falls only owe people from outside the area a place to LIVE, not a place to visit.
