Coeur d'Alene golf course group more than halfway to fundraising goal

COEUR d'ALENE — A grassroots group looking to raise $50,000 to help cover expenses following extensive wind damage at the Coeur d'Alene Golf Club in January is more than halfway to its goal.

"As chairman, I feel confident that community support will offset the insurance shortfall," said John Adams, owner of Coeur d'Alene Tractor and chairman of the grassroots group "Friends Foundation."
