A 28-year-old Seattle man was injured when his motorcycle struck a vehicle ahead of him in congested traffic on Interstate 90 Monday afternoon, Idaho State Police reported.

Trahern P. Clayton was driving westbound on a 2014 Honda motorcycle at 12:25 p.m., about 1.5 miles west of Coeur d'Alene on I-90.

Traffic began to slow down, and the motorcycle struck a travel trailer being pulled by a 2015 Chevy Silverado, police reported.

Trahern was not wearing a helmet, police reported, and he was transported to Kootenai Health with undisclosed injuries.

The driver of the truck, Kevin A. Fryer, 38, and his passenger, Heather M. Fryer, 38, both of Colville, Wash., were not injured in the crash, which remains under investigation, police reported.
