Terrance L. Kiser (TK)

July 27, 1942 - June 22, 2021

What a grand journey it was. All my friends, classmates, both high school and college, great family both mine and the ones I gained through marriage, have enriched my life beyond what any person can expect. It is difficult to thank all the people who made my life so grand. As one ages, the memory begins to fade or fail. First, my wife of about a half century tried to reign in my impulsive nature, not always successful. But she enriched my life in so many ways; in our youth we traveled almost every weekend. Wherever we were, we explored all that was offered both near and far. We always enjoyed all the family gatherings and holiday events. My mother and father instilled the courage to face all the good and bad challenges that life has to offer. They also instilled the honorable codes of conduct, honesty, fair treatment to all, stay the course of the tasks you started, learn all you can from people and books.

So, what I ask of all is smile every day, look for the good in all you encounter, remember me fondly. I have remembered all of you and had great adventures with many of you. So, live all that you can and to the fullest…goodbye to all, love ya all, TK.

1 Thessalonians 4:11-12… “and to make it your ambition to lead a quiet life: you should mind your own business and work with your hands, Just as we told you, so that your daily life may win the respect of outsiders and so that you will not be dependent on anybody”. This is how Terry lived his life and we are all better for knowing this great man.

Terry’s wishes were to be cremated and no service planned. A gathering of family and friends is planned for sometime this summer. Please consider a donation in honor of Terry to Habitat for Humanity of North Idaho, 176 W. Wyoming Ave., Hayden, Idaho 83835 or Shoshone Pet Rescue, P.O. Box 884, Kellogg, Idaho 83837.

Yates Funeral Home is entrusted with final arrangements. Please visit Terry’s online memorial and sign his guestbook at www.yatesfuneralhomes.com
