ANNIVERSARY

James and Iris Moore

60th Anniversary

James and Iris Moore celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary on Jan. 27, 2021. They were high school sweethearts and married on Jan. 27, 1961, in Taft, Calif.

They resided in Ventura, Calif., for more than 50 years and raised two daughters there. Jim was a preacher of the gospel of Jesus Christ and he also worked for Arrowhead Water for many years. Iris was a stay-at-home mom. Then they owned and operated a successful day care together for several decades.

They retired in 2019 to move to Hayden to be near their elder daughter, Melinda Uhlich (Bret). Their younger daughter, Jennifer Escruceria (Andres) moved to Hayden in 2020 to be near the family too.

Jim and Iris have two grandchildren, James Escruceria, in Salt Lake City, Utah, and Mea Escruceria in Santa Barbara, Calif.

James Escruceria will be joining them for their celebration dinner at Beverly's in Coeur d'Alene. They are also planning an anniversary vacation to their favorite getaway destination on the Oregon Coast, tentatively scheduled for April.

Jim and Iris, their daughters and family are thankful to the good Lord for his blessing and grace over this beautiful marriage.
