LEVY: Not for athletics

I was a little taken aback when I read the article about the supplemental levy for Lakeland Joint School District. The first line said the fund, critical to student instruction, includes extracurricular activities and athletics!

Really, I thought we were paying taxes to fund education. Why are our teachers having to buy supplies out of their own pockets? This is totally not right.

I also feel that the seniors in Idaho should be given some kind of break. Is there any way that can be put on the ballot? I had to vent!
