Notable calls for the day!

01-24-2021

Day Shift handled the following notable calls:

• Health & Welfare called and asked us to assist in a welfare check on a 9 year old girl at a residence on W. Riverbend Ave. Deputies assisted and it was determined to be an unfounded report.

• A Deputy conducted some follow-up with the fatality crash. He attempted to contact the businesses to see if there was any video footage of the vehicles involved.

Today, Deputies spent a lot of time doing follow-up investigations and gather more statements for crimes/incidents that occurred over the weekend.

Evening Shift handled the following notable calls:

• A Deputy responded to E Arthur Road for a theft report. The R/P reported that he had $720 stolen from his wallet. He suspected his roommates of stealing the money, however, during his investigation the Deputy was unable to prove any of the roommates stole the money. An inactive report was completed. 21-03857

• A Deputy responded to N Crimson Drive for a report of a domestic dispute. It was reported by the R/P that his 13 year old son had struck him in the face after he attempted to take a bag of chips away from him. It was determined that the R/P had jokingly took the bag of chips from his son, which resulted in the son jokingly patting the R/P on the head. The R/P, who was intoxicated, responded by calling 911 to report the "battery". 21-03900

• A Deputy stopped a vehicle at Government and Miles. The driver of the vehicle showed signs of impairment. A subsequent DUI investigation yielded that he was intoxicated, and he was arrested for DUI. The driver refused to provide a BrAC sample. 21-03904

Night Shift handled the following notable calls:

• Deputies responded to E. Northwood Dr. for CPR in progress. Upon arrival, deputies located a male and immediately began CPR. Medical responded and were unable to revive the male. Nothing suspicious was noted during the investigation. 21- 03937

• Deputies responded to W. Kidd Island Rd for a trespassing/unwanted subject. The R/P reported his adult was “high on meth” and hallucinating. The R/P reported that his son was waking everyone up in the house and being disruptive. Deputies arrived on scene and prior to their arrival the son had left the area on foot. Deputies located son’s ankle monitor cut off and lying in the residence. Deputies spoke to the R/P and learned no crime had been committed inside the residence. Deputies did complete an incident report. 21-03942

Notable calls for the day!

Day Shift handled the following notable calls:

• Deputies responded to N Fowler Rd. for an agency assist for CDA PD regarding a runaway juv. Upon their arrival they located the runaway juvenile who was detained and returned home.

• Units responded to W. Kidd Island Rd for a Psychological. Caller stated his brother "was high on meth" and "on probation and taking off his ankle monitor" Upon arrival and contacting the parties involved, Deputies transported the brother to KH on an involuntary hold.

• CIU Deputies arrested a male at his residence for his felony PV warrant.

Evening Shift handled the following notable calls:

• A Deputy responded to N Maple Street for a family dispute. He learned that a 9 year old female, who may suffer from autism, was acting out attacking family members and breaking items in the residence. The Deputy was able to calm the child down, and left her with her family who advised she was going to be seeing a doctor tomorrow for an evaluation. 21-04023

• Deputies responded to W Dakota Ave for a welfare check. They were looking for a male after his coworker learned that he was suffering from depression and made suicidal statements. They were unable to locate him, however, they spoke to him on the phone and learned he was with a friend in Spokane, dealing with his issues. He stated he was fine and not suicidal, only needed to talk. 21-04024

• Deputies responded to W Rice Ave for a report of a wanted person. It was reported that a known wanted person was at the residence. Upon arrival, it was learned the reporting party had told the male law enforcement was called, and surprisingly the wanted person left prior to laws arrival. 21-04040

• A Deputy responded to N Hwy 41 for a missing person. A male was reported to be missing, and originally was reported to be high functioning autistic. It was learned that the male was having relationship issues and sent a message stating he "needed time" and was planning on leaving for an undisclosed amount of time. 21-04044

Night Shift handled the following notable calls:

• Deputies responded to I90 MP 1 for a stolen vehicle out of Washington. Deputies and ISP were unable to locate the vehicle. The vehicle was later located by PFPD who took primary. 21-24065

• Deputies responded to N. Maple Street for a suspicious. The R/P reported someone pounding on her door. Upon answering the door, no one was there. They reported this happening multiple times in the past few days. The Deputy arrived on scene and did not see anything suspicious. He also noted there were no footsteps in the fresh snow. 21-04105
