DEMOCRATS: Perpetrators of violence

Daniel Strayer presents a very skewed view of political violence in America. He seems to excuse the awful destruction and death associated with the ongoing BLM riots while damning the recent assault on the Capitol by concerned but ill-directed conservatives.

Daniel forgot to mention that during his 10-year time frame, there were on average 15,000 homicides per year and roughly 1.5 million violent crimes per year wrought upon peaceful citizens by criminals. These crimes were all chosen by their perpetrators.

The actions were voluntary. They could have actually behaved. So if they commit their crimes and fail to comply when caught they are likely to be harmed being brought to justice. Again all by their own choosing.

Now we have one political party that seems to condone violent action as a valid means of dissent. The Occupy movements cost many millions and led to 34 deaths. BLM, etc., are exceedingly worse. And there is no outcry for civility and no damnation of the nightly violence. Instead, Mr. Strayer feels it is appropriate, worthy and apparently admirable.

Mr. Strayer, grow up. Violence begets violence. The Democrats have sowed the seeds for violence as a useful option to achieve their ends. That is and always was wrong. Do not look down your nose if others follow your lead. Be ashamed of your poor choices.
