FACEBOOK: Pull the plug

| January 24, 2021 1:00 AM

Many of you use Facebook to keep in touch with friends/family, etc. Facebook and other tech firms (Google, Apple, etc.) have recently been shown to be enemies of free speech, by banning many people and other platforms. Parler is just one on many platforms that have been banned and of course President Trump. Whether you like him or not is not the issue. It is about the far left taking over and trampling on the Constitution and the Bill of Rights. To my way of thinking if you continue to use Facebook, you are condoning their activity.

There will be other platforms that will be brought back up and/or started to replace Facebook.

I know for many of you this will be hard for you to do, but like the bumper sticker says, “Freedom is not Free.” Many good men and women have died to protect the freedom we all enjoy today.

There is always the old fashion way to be connected, phone calls, actually talking to the one you love or emails, even texting.

The question for me is do I stand on the side of freedom of speech or just don’t care as long as they don’t ban you and yours?

All it takes is six steps to stop using Facebook and 30 days later you will be disconnected. I just did. They are a business and only your actions can stop them.
