Bodyn Burns

| January 24, 2021 1:00 AM

Bodyn Burns, born Oct. 17, 2006, at Kootenai Hospital, passed away on Jan. 13, 2021. He was loved by many. The energy he gave, whether you knew him his whole life or just a moment, could not be forgotten. He always left everyone smiling. His ridiculously funny wit, handsome face and smooth moves left their mark and will leave a giant hole in our hearts.

Bodyn enjoyed what most 14-year-old boys liked: playing video games, sports and hanging with friends and cousins, along with playing his guitar. He also had a love for animals and the outdoors; hunting and fishing with his father were his most talked about moments.

Most importantly, Bodyn had a deep love for his mom and family. He cherished his time playing, laughing and enjoying family time together.

He was preceded by Grandpa Nick and Grandpa Bert, who are holding him closely. He left behind his father, Nick Burns; mother, Heidi Gallert; grandmothers Linda Blaisdell and Pam Burns; Opa, Hans Gallert; Oma, Karen Gallert; great-Oma, Martha Gallert; brother, Joshua Gallert; and too many family members to list and count.

Bodyn will always be remembered for his open heart and kind personality. He always looked out for others and would put them before himself. His presence will forever be with us through the memories and all the lives he touched. We will see this shining, happy boy everywhere we look. He was the light of our lives and the star of our hearts.

A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 30, 2021, at Real Life Ministries- Building 2, 1860 N. Cecil Road, Post Falls, ID 83854.
