TRUMP: He saw the light

| January 22, 2021 1:00 AM

I have been deeply grieved of late at the overwhelming number of letters spewing such an astonishing degree of vile hatred and vitriol for our president. Where are the voices of those who used to stand up for him? Have you all been silenced by fear of those who now seem to be in control of all forms of media?

Very early in his administration, according to several people who were in the room and witnessed the event, President Trump asked Jesus Christ to forgive his sins and be the Lord of his life. From that moment on, he became a new creation in Christ and has done none of the things that characterized his past. Yet, he has had to endure unrelenting attacks on his character.

Which one of us would have been willing to go to work every day knowing that every sin we had ever committed would be held up for scrutiny by the entire world? Who among us would be willing to continue doing everything in our power to improve the lives of our fellow citizens in the face of such unrelenting hatred, and still at the end of each month donate our entire paycheck to charity? Who? Would you?

God bless President Donald J. Trump and all his future endeavors.
