MASKS: Realtor ignores mandate

| January 22, 2021 1:00 AM

My family has a condo at Riverstone in Coeur d’Alene. On Jan. 16, a real estate company hosted an open house in the condo development. The agent, sitting in the lobby, stated to me that he’s received a COVID-19 vaccination because he’s on oxygen, is not wearing a mask. Nor is he requesting visitors, who must use the building’s only elevator to view the home, to mask up. When asked if he would please request that visitors use a mask his reply was, “no, I’m not going to do that, they don’t work anyway.”

This gentleman’s behavior is socially irresponsible and an embarrassment to his profession. His refusal to mask up and refuse to request his open house customers use a mask for the one elevator in a condo community shows no regard for the safety of those of us living here.

This situation also reflects poorly on the real estate company.
