STUDENT: Counselors a blessing

Regarding the Sunday article by Devin Weeks, the child felt comfortable talking to an adult about a difficult situation — not one that comes up every day. And modern Republicans go goofy again.

The child starting the conversation is the beginning of a solution. A difficult topic for sure, but it could have been a topic of neglect or abuse just the same.

I think we should all be grateful the schools have staff willing to listen to children no matter the topic. I can’t understand why the modern Republicans feel a need to hate every thing above ground and below.

It really is time for them to come out of the closet, announce their desire for Naziism and quit hiding it behind Christianity.

Get out of the Republican Party. Your ideology just cost Trump an election.
