PREP WRESTLING: Post Falls, Coeur d'Alene advance to River City semis

POST FALLS — Tournament host Post Falls and Coeur d’Alene went 3-0 in their respective pods on Friday to advance to the Gold Bracket semifinals of the 24th annual River City Duals tournament at The Arena.

Post Falls and Coeur d’Alene, which met for the tournament title in 2020, will face each other today at 9 a.m.

Nampa, which has won two duals already, will also advance to the Gold Bracket with a win today against Lake City. Lakeland can also advance with a win over Lewiston in its dual.

No fans are allowed at the tournament under Governor Brad Little’s Stage 2 Athletic Plan.

The tournament resumes today at 9 a.m., with the championship duals scheduled to begin at 2 p.m.
