Dawn Fern Atha, 54

On Thursday, Jan. 7, 2021, Dawn Atha, loving wife, mother, sister and friend, passed away at the age of 54. Dawn was born on March 6, 1966, in Torrance, Calif., to Floyd and Virginia. She was raised by her father in Simi Valley. She moved to Idaho in 1992.

She married the love of her life, Rich, on Aug. 17, 2002. They spent a lot of time camping and floating the river together. She and Rich had a couple of dogs that she loved to be with.

Dawn had many lifelong friendships, from childhood and from working in hospitality for many years. Dawn was very artistic and she took her talent to the nail industry, where she excelled. Due to health reasons, she was no longer able to continue with her love of doing nails.

Dawn will be remembered as a diehard Oakland (Las Vegas) Raiders fan and for her witty sense of humor, but most of all, for the love she showered everyone with that was lucky enough to be around her.

Dawn is survived by her husband, Rich; her four children: Justen, Amber, Angelica and Brayton; grandchildren, Sterling, Trenten and Giavanna; her sister, Crystal; her brother, Alex; and her beloved dog, Olivia.

Dawn was preceded in death by her brother, Sean, and her father, Floyd.
