Kootenai County’s newly elected officials will be sworn into office during a brief ceremony Monday at 10 a.m. in the county administration building.
Incumbents Commissioner Bill Brooks, Chris Fillios, and Prosecutor Barry McHugh, and Sheriff-elect Bob Norris will be honored at the ceremony. Due to COVID-19 and Gov. Brad Little’s gathering restrictions, in-person attendance will only be restricted to staff and immediate families.
Commissioner Leslie Duncan will welcome the attendees, followed by a Presentation of Colors by the KCSO Honor Guard and Pastor Eddie Bateman's innovation before County Clerk Jim Brannon swears in the officials.
