CHARITY: Extend it further
Idahoans are giving people! You can tell that by reading in our favorite newspaper that we have surpassed previous years’ charitable contributions.
Case in point, the Christmas For All did an outstanding job in collections this season. Bravo! And we give to the less fortunate throughout the year by collecting money, food, clothing and making shelters available. Giving people, we Idahoans! No one can say otherwise.
So why is it that so many of us refuse to keep our fellow Idahoans safe by insisting on NOT wearing a simple thing like a mask? I understand that the verdict is still out on how effective they are but until the restrictions become proven obsolete, isn’t it in the best interest of our fellow Idahoans to try in some small way to prevent the spread of COVID-19?
I really don’t understand how the requirement of masks interferes with your right of free choice. And I would rather be in the percentile of people that help others by attempting to keep them safe from the virus.
Let’s continue to help our neighbors by simply wearing a mask.
