VACCINE: Best way forward

Dear elected officials:

For months I have asked, how will the United States accomplish the level vaccination required to reverse the spread of COVID-19? And for months I have told anyone who will listen that it is not possible in the United States without the U.S. military running the program.

Well, two weeks in and only 2 million of the promised 20 million people have been vaccinated. The United States is unique because it does not have a national health care program. There are 51 individual programs, no chain of command. Any military leader worth their salt will tell you that this is a disaster.

The stature of the United States of America is in jeopardy unless the military assumes distribution and administration of the COVID-19 vaccine. As we witnessed in New York City, regular citizens will become secondary to those willing to pay. Let this sink in, get off your collective backsides, quit the partisan squabbles and do something now.
