LIMBAUGH: Tale well told
Wanted to tell you how very much we enjoyed reading the great letter from the man who fired Rush Limbaugh, and to see that he is one of our neighbors here in North Idaho made it all the more enjoyable.
I’ve been a major fan of Mr. Limbaugh’s from not long after he was fired by Mr. Leonard back in the ’80s and have heard Rush talk about being fired many times. As we all know, that incident didn’t even slow him down a little bit!
I will miss Rush a lot. I see him as the man who gave conservatism a voice at a time when conservatism wasn’t represented anywhere, not in the papers, television, movies or academia.
So thank you very much, Mr. Paul Leonard Jr., for sharing your personal time with Rush and thank you to the Coeur d’Alene Press for putting that great letter right on the front page where it belonged.
And most of all, thanks to Mr. Rush Limbaugh for 33-plus years of Excellence in Broadcasting. It’s been an education, a REAL one!
