COLUMN: Missing Shillingstad

Until I read Bob Van Wyck’s letter in Readers Write (Feb. 10), I too had wondered about the absence of Bob Shillingstad’s “Faithful Observations” column in The Press. What a disappointment that this local, supposedly non partisan, newspaper is choosing to stop the voices of those who believe in the sanctity of life, traditional marriage, and other Godly moral values as taught in the Bible.

Bob Shillingstad, I hope you know that you are appreciated and missed by thousands. I know God will bless you for your faithful service. “Blessed are those who are persecuted because of righteousness, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.” Matthew 5:10
