PHD: 94 new coronavirus cases

The Panhandle Health District reported 94 new cases of the coronavirus for Saturday, Sunday and Monday, with 64 of them in Kootenai County. There were no reported deaths attributed to the virus over those three days, leaving PHD's number of COVID-related deaths at 252.

Kootenai Health reported it has 24 coronavirus inpatients, with five in critical care.

PHD has now had a total of 21,856 coronavirus cases, with 18,890 of them closed. That leaves nearly 3,000 active cases, about 1.2 percent of the district's population.
