FAITH: Choose wisely

For three weeks now, I missed seeing Bob Shillingstad’s “Faithful Observations” in our paper.

So, I thought I would write Bob a note and find out if he was OK or what happened.

He informed me that the paper wanted less politics about abortion or marriage. So he is switching to his own personal blog.

Then today, I open my paper and find a column entitled “Inquiring Minds” written by Sholeh Patrick. It is all about Chinese astrology and the Zodiac. This is all a philosophy developed by the Chinese more than 5,000 years ago based on their observations of the sky (astrology), etc.

And then the paper also faithfully prints the Astrograph which many people take as fact.

Now the Bible, which is God’s word, which He personally inspired the writers to write is very clear on what constitutes marriage and how to view abortion.

This to me is far more important than Chinese astrology which is myth fabricated by man.

So, choose you today who you will serve, God or man. Your eternal destiny is decided on your decision.
