Charlotte Ann Printz

| February 18, 2021 1:00 AM

Charlotte Ann Printz, a beautiful heart, was brought back home on Valentines Day, 2021. She was known for her beautiful flower and vegetable gardens and being the mother of five children. In her early years of motherhood, she was a Cub Scout leader and was a master at sewing and knitting and making homemade meals every day. When the children grew up, she worked for the Forest Service Nursery, helping plant baby trees. She also loved traveling to her children’s home in nearby states to help with grandchildren, gardening and making memories with them.

She married Peter Andrew Printz on June 5, 1959, in Seattle, and they soon moved to Idaho, where they lived all over the state with the Idaho Fish and Game Department. They came to Coeur d’Alene in 1973 for their final position with the Fish and Game, and this is where they retired.

Peter passed on Jan. 4, 2008; she missed him dearly and is with him now in the afterlife. She is survived by one sister, Karen Seawell. Her five children are Mark Printz, Todd Printz, David Printz, Andy Printz and Kristina Stewart. Charlotte gave all she had to her children and grandchildren and will never be forgotten or replaced.

There will be a visitation held from 1 to 5 p.m., with a memorial service at 2 p.m., on Saturday, Feb. 20, 2021, at English Funeral Chapel, 1133 N. Fourth St., Coeur d' Alene, Idaho.
