North Idaho STEM Charter Academy student Ethan Hunt won best of show for fifth through eighth grades in the 2021 North Idaho Regional Invention Convention with his Jules Verne invention, "Electrical Spine Tingling Implant." Ethan designed this project to be a spine implant that shocks spinal damage and injects a peptide into the PKMzeta protein of the spine. This could allow people with spinal cord injuries to walk again.
