Rebecca Schwartz, a 2002 graduate of Lake City High School, has been awarded her Ph.D. from the University of Utah.

Dr. Schwartz, after graduating from the University of Idaho in 2006, worked in Japan for a number of years before returning to the U.S. to earn her master’s degree at Western Kentucky University.

Dr. Schwartz is now the Director of Study Abroad at Weber State University.

Douglas R. Callahan, of Post Falls (Organizational Leadership and Adult Learning), received his Master of Education degree from Park University. He attended West Plains (Mo.) High School.

Park University hosted a virtual all-University commencement ceremony on Dec. 12, 2020, for its fall 2020 graduates from the University’s flagship Parkville Campus, as well as the Downtown Kansas City, Mo., Independence, Mo., and Lenexa, Kansas, campuses.
