VACCINE: Use lottery system

The current methods for scheduling COVID-19 vaccinations can at best be described as chaotic. Is it too much to ask that one agency (Panhandle Health?) create a single database that allows seniors in Kootenai County to at least register their desire to be vaccinated?

We all understand that the vaccine is in short supply, but surely in the 21st century, it is not beyond us to at least have a fair method of scheduling. I’m fairly confident that the majority of us seniors in Kootenai County can make themselves available for a vaccination on short notice.

Why not have a simple lottery as soon as a new batch of vaccine arrives? Come on guys! It’s not rocket science.
