FASCISM: Unfair portrayal

| February 5, 2021 1:00 AM

Well… here we go, again.

Should Mr. Cutting be censured according to MSM rules espoused by the likes of the opinion spin masters from CNN, MSNBC, etc.?

His opinion piece from Jan. 27 is divisive, factually inaccurate, it could cause riots, injuries and even death, oh my!

In his efforts to paint a certain administration as heading down the road to fascism, alluding to it through a vague list of references, Mr. Cutting did minimal research on his subject.

First error: Mr. Cutting didn’t spell Laurence’s first name correctly because of the obvious, very limited research he did while “Googling.”

Second: This blather of b.s. first made the conspiracy rounds during the Bush administration.

Unfortunately, those who live and breathe through the letters to the editor section, awaiting the next letter from someone “on their side” who does very little research, are again being misled like sheep to slaughter while putting on full display their total ignorance and laziness in fact checking.

Read Mr. Britt’s original essay because his original has been plagiarized and modified by many keyboard warriors like Mr. Cutting to simply push a false narrative or to bolster an ideology.

Lastly: Mr. Britt was interviewed by the Rochester City Newspaper and he definitively stated that the U.S. was not a fascist regime nor did it check off many of the 14 points he alludes to.

For a more accurate definition of fascism, Mr. Cutting, and everyone else who cheered his opinion or sides with BLM and ANTIFA, read Umberto Ecco instead of Laurence Britt.
