Pickford, a 5-foot-9 senior point guard, hit seven 3-pointers for the Timberwolves in an 81-71 win over Desert Oasis High in the opening game of the Tarkanian Classic on Dec. 17 in Las Vegas. "Kendall, being a senior, really stepped up and shot the ball really well," Lake City coach James Anderson said. "We've been kind of jumping on her back and she's moving us along." Pickford averaged 10.3 points per game and 5.5 assists to help the Timberwolves to a runner-up finish.
