NIC: Blame the ex-boss

| December 22, 2021 1:00 AM

The ex-president of NIC has nearly destroyed the college by possibly losing accreditation. This is done by neglect or poor knowledge of what needed done over a long period.

The college hired a qualified person for this position, the board of directors and president would not back up this person who they laid off. Now the community will pay for their incompetence.

With the coming exodus of long-term employees leaving, the college will lower operational knowledge. What happened with the vice presidents that should be able to keep the college running smoothly? The loss of some of NIC staff, the good old boy network, can replace them with people who will look out after NIC not just a power.

The in-term president is the athletic director who knows that it is a team of coaches that make a winning team not just the head coach, who is the leader and guide. Wishing you the best during this time of turmoil.
